Queste funzioni comprendono, per $r=1$, le funzioni monogene $(df=f^{'}dx)$ studiate da vari Autori; mentre, per $r=n-1$, vanno avvicinate alle funzioni regolari di FUETER e MOSIL ed anzi coincidono con queste (a meno di un opportuno isomorfismo) nell'algebra dei quaternioni e nelle algebre di Clifford. Per le funzioni r-olomorfe in un'algebra qualsiasi si stabilisce un teorema integrale di tipo CAUCHY. Monogenic functions $(df=f^{'}dx)$(SCHEFFERS, LORCH, RIZZA,...) is a special case $(r=1).$Regular functions (MOISIL, FUETER) are strictly related to $(n-1)-holomorphic$ functions $(n=\underset{R}{\dim A}.$In particular these classes of functions coincide (up to suitable isomorphism), when $A$ is the quaternion algebra $Q$ or a CLIFFORD algebra $C$. For r-holomorphic functions in a general algebra $A$ , a CAUCHY theorem is proved. A representation formula, when $A=Q$, is also obtained.
