Abstract

La distribution du nombre de syllabes qui mène à la seconde règle de Meyer concernant l’hexamètre ou à celle de Fränkel a une certaine chance de ne pas être une règle imposée au vers et qui lui serait étrangère, mais le reflet rythmique de l’interaction entre les côla.

The distribution of the number of syllables leading to the second Meyer’s law or Fränkel’s one, concerning the hexameter, does not appear to be a rule imposed to the verse and foreign to it, but the rhythmical reflex of the interaction between the cola.
