This anastatic edition is based on a high-resolution digital scanning of the original three-tome octavo edition printed in Milan in 1812 by Giovanni Silvestri and currently owned by the Library of Juridical Sciences of the University of Trieste (collocazione D.Pb.PE/01./B0015 (1-3), (Inv. GDA 1971-1973). For this print edition, the original typographic layout and grid format have been increased in size. Pre-print digital amendments have been made only where paper deterioration was preventing text readability. Editors have decided not to correct the original typographical errors.
