The authors present the results of a research conducted on the pedagogical practice of 178 special education teachers who work in different locations of nursery and primary schools in the metropolitan region of Grande Vitória (Espírito Santo, Brazil). The results of the interviews, while highlighting the presence of different orientations among the interlocutors, focus on an alignment of their practices with the principles of school inclusion and underline how important the structures, materials, aids and working conditions of teachers are in order to provide teaching that is effectively able to respond to the needs of pupils.

The author highlights the value of Edmondo de Amicis’ novel as a written testimony, unique in Italian literature, of the epic transoceanic voyages of compatriots migrating to the Americas in the second half of the 19th century. The strong social bent of the testimony, written in the first person by the author, make it a true “social novel” that effectively reverberates in the informational and cultural context of Italy contemporary to him.

Peacebuilding in Colombia has required a long and arduous journey during a complex debate that took place at the constitutional level and was fraught with numerous obstacles. The Final Agreement for the Cessation of the Conflict and the Building of Peace has been highly polarized and politicized. The author analyses the specific context in which the Colombian Constitutional Court carries out its activity in the framework of these Agreements. He argues that the high level of corruption in the three branches of power in Colombia has negatively affected the implementation of the 2016 Peace Agreement.

The author questions the political-electoral action of Chilean emigrants in Italy. She considers the processes of transnationalization of domestic politics and the possible reconfiguration of political-electoral mobilization outside the national territory by examining the action of citizens living abroad, their representatives and associations, national institutions, and political parties of the country of origin.
