Osservatorio Scuola. Il laboratorio di microbiologia a scuola: idee per una didattica low cost

School laboratory activities are essential for effective teaching; despite the increasingly common use of digital resources to support teaching, it remains essential to combine theory with correct practice. For microbiology, the lack of economic resources available in schools often undermines the possibility for students to carry out important laboratory experiences. However, the market offers a wide variety of optimal resources, microbial samples and culture media ingredients, to set up relevant activities.

Fluviocarsismo nell’alto bacino idrogeologico del Krka (Slovenia)
    (2024)
    Stoppa, Michele
The paper analyses the structure of the upper hydrogeological basin of the Krka River. Located in the north-western foothills of the Dolenjska karst it consists of a mosaic of endorheic hydrographic basins characterized by peculiar fluviokarst forms of undoubted morphological interest. Attention is focused on the paradigmatic case represented by Radensko polje, now valorized in the frame of one of the landscape parks of Slovenia.

Donne e istruzione in Italia tra Ottocento e Novecento. Parte seconda: memorialistica e narrativa
    (2024)
    Di Pasqua, Salvatore
After having tried to reconstruct the most significant moments of the long and arduous process of female emancipation in the Kingdom of Italy (the slow improvement in literacy, the struggle for access to the highest levels of education and to the professional registers, the new professional achievements...), this second part of the essay will mainly focus on the figure of the female teacher, who is most often relegated to the insular reality of rural schools in conditions of serious discomfort and isolation. The history of these ‘frontier’ teachers has reached us above all through news stories or the stories of its protagonists, but also through the many pages of literature that have contributed to leaving a long-lasting trace of this female epic of grief and determination.
