Abstract
This issue aims to contribute to current debates by re-engaging with Marx’s politically embed-ded critique, ranging from his early works to later ones. The Introduction highlights the chal-lenges and relevance of revisiting Marx’s conception of politics, despite the decline of Marxian categories in academic and public discourse, where they have largely been replaced by frame-works centred on individual or collective identity and distributive justice. The Marxian critique, however, retains its significance by highlighting the role of social relations of production and class struggle in shaping political structures and conflicts.
