Abstract
This essay aims to illustrate the modes and types of entertainments and performances in Greco-Roman Egypt. From the paperwork used, a very varied picture emerges from which the extrascal activity of the artists is highlighted before and after their performances both in the major theaters of the metropolis and in the narrow spaces of the villages. Two Appendices are complete in the Corpus Corp. of contracts signed by heads of state with directors and private citizens who intend to hire artists' companies to celebrate festivals and anniversaries, and a large Anthology of documents in which they are nominated for a variety of reasons.
