Rights, realities and responsibilities in community interpreting
Community interpretes need a profile of qualifications which is different from that of conference interpreters. Above all, community interpreters must be able to make consistent ethical decisions in the continuum between neutrality and advocacy. This is the reason why community interpreting should be integrated in the regular curricula.
