The way in which Bachtin reads Dostoyevsky in the "Problemy tvorčestva Dostoevskogo", 1929 ("Problemi dell’opera di Dostoevskij", 1997) gives clues as to how we can read Bachtin. This is a fundamental text in the absolute sense and the epicenter of Bachtinian thought as a whole.
