Abstract
Negli ultimi anni è cresciuto l’interesse del mondo accademico e delle istituzioni verso il turismo dei cammini, una pratica slow e sostenibile, che può rappresentare una straordinaria opportunità per la rigenerazione e valorizzazione di molti territori marginali, dotati di un patrimonio culturale e naturale spesso ingente, ma disperso e poco comunicato. Obiettivo del presente lavoro è quello di evidenziare, attraverso uno specifico caso di studio dedicato al Cammino di San Nilo nel Parco Nazionale del Cilento, Vallo di diano e Alburni, il ruolo che questa forma di turismo può giocare nelle aree interne più fragili e remote della Campania.
In recent years, there has been a growing interest in the academic world and institutions towards walking tourism, a slow and sustainable practice that can represent an extraordinary opportunity for the regeneration and enhancement of many marginal territories, endowed with a cultural and natural heritage that is often substantial but dispersed and poorly communicated. The objective of this paper is to highlight, through a specific case study dedicated to the San Nilo walk in the National Park of Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni, the role that this form of tourism can play in the most fragile and remote inner areas of Campania.
