Abstract
Since their definition by the Eleatic philosopher, Zeno's paradoxes have posed several challenges to human thought, turning out to have enormous philosophical significance and import. In this book, Vincenzo Fano reconstructs the history of the paradoxes, and points to both the key difficulties they give rise to, and the innovative ideas that have been put forward and employed with a view to solving them.
