Abstract
Marturano discusses Jørgensen’s dilemma, a very interesting topic in analytic philosophy. It is an important monograph because its author not only reproduces the original formulation of Jørgen Jørgensen during the 30s of the last century, but also follows its subsequent developments. Moreover for Marturano it’s possible a divergent proposal that enables the existence of a logic of the norms, without the unacceptable drawbacks of a dilemma between a truth – functional logic, and then inapplicable to norms, and a logic irrational, and then applicable to norms but contrary to the rationality commonly described by the logic.
