Abstract
The paper aims to reflect on the relationship between law and technology, examining the face of digital society, in order to analyze the current configuration of European legal regulation in this area, the peculiarities that characterize it and the directions that emerge for the future. The contribution examines the philosophical, ethical and legal model of governance of technology and, in particular, artificial intelligence, as it emerges in the light of the European regulation that has been taking shape in recent years, aimed at regulating the digital dimension in its various aspects (Artificial Intelligence Act, Data Governance Act, Data Act, Digital Services Act, Digital Markets Act, etc.), also paying attention to the changing geometries of power. European regula-tion denotes an evolution of law both in terms of the form of legal regulation and in terms of instruments provided by the legislature, which innovate traditional paradigms.
