Abstract
Artykuł jest wprowadzeniem w problematykę zmysłowości w poezji Zbigniewa Herberta. Wstępnie wyróżnia się tu trzy odmiany sensualizmu. Pierwszy z nich ma charakter percepcyjny i związany jest z dekonstruowaną przez poetę idealistyczną (esencjalistyczną) opozycją istoty i zjawiska. Drugi to sensualizm afektywny, który wiąże się z rozkoszą i cierpieniem. Trzeci natomiast – sensualizm metafizyczny, prowadzi ku pojęciu modernistycznej epifanii.
The article is an introduction to the issues of sensuality in Zbigniew Herbert’s poetry. In which we can distinguish three types of sensualism. The first one is perceptive and connected to the idealistic (essentialist) opposition of essence (idea) and phenomena, which is being deconstructed by the poet. The second one is affective sensualism, which is related to experiencing pleasure and suffering. Following one, metaphysical sensualism, leads to the notion of modernist epiphanies.
