Abstract
The article aims to analyze, starting from the Nietzsche's point of view, the issue of the lack of sense as one of the most important feature of the contemporary philosophy. Together with Nietzsche's philosophy, the article uses the speculative instruments of Greimas' narratology and Heidegger's philosophy of art. These three philosophical instruments point in a mutual way to the theme of space and place as key concepts within the issue of sense: especially Greimas' theory the narration is a spatially oriented process deeply linked with the value issue (at the core of Nietzsche's thought, too) and te Heidegger's theory of art presents ontological dynamics as explicable in spatial terms (starting from the World-Earth couple). In this way, values appear to be the pivot around which a world, as an organized and harmonic reality liveable by men, can be built up.
