Abstract
This essay provides the edition, the Italian translation, and the commentary of two pederastic epigrams, i.e. 22 and 23 of the Appendix of poems attributed to Claudian in the edition of John Barrie Hall 1985. The reconstruction of the editorial tradition is intertwined with that of Petronius. In this context, a new manuscript is taken into account (Rowlinson G. 109 from the early 13th century), until today ignored. The analytic comparison with anonymous medieval epigrams dealing with the relationship between a man and a puer allows us to ascribe the two poems to medieval times.
XIII, fino a oggi ignorato.
