Abstract
After a preliminary clarification on the role of the philosophy of law in legal education, this essay discusses some elements implicit in the Damiano Canale’s book: the inevitabile “immorality” of law, the relationship between law and justice, and the centrality of duties for a correct solution of the practical conflicts.
