Abstract
The book contains a full investigation of the general and specific activities within intermodal corridors, in the framework of the services of general economic interest and the essential facilities. Institutional figures are highlighted with respect to the typical and atypical structure of the economic entity potentially globally operating, as well as tactic and strategic choices in reallocation processes and infrastructures and logistic and spatial means management will be relevant to the research. At same time the evolution of the remote structures was studied as subsidiaries, branches, permanent establishments, according to their recent juridical, administrative and operational configuration and within the multimodal frameworks of continental logistic platforms. The economic significance of free zones within multimodal corridors synergies was analysed in depth from a multi level approach.
