Abstract
The contribution presents the hypothesis, methodological proposal and field of application for the work carried out within the iNEST Spoke 4 RT3.3 task. The task focuses across scales on the social use of space and design strategies to improve the well-being of fragile groups, investigating the connections between the large concept of “multidimensional poverty” and the conditions of spatial fragilities in urban contexts. The proposed methodology for analysing the context in which the Trieste pilot project unfolds serves as a starting point for developing integrated masterplanning solutions aimed at 'de-fragilising' neighbourhoods and supporting vulnerable groups, fostering more comfortable, inclusive, and socially thriving everyday lives.
