Abstract
The author’s hypothesis is that the Inter-American Court, the highest court for human rights in the region, has begun to take small steps towards a conception of equality as «non-submission» developed by Saba in the analysis of poverty and its impact on the full enjoyment and exercise of human rights.

L'ipotesi dell’autrice è che la Corte interamericana, la massima corte per i diritti umani della regione, abbia iniziato a compiere piccoli passi da una concezione dell'uguaglianza come «non sottoposizione», sviluppata da Saba, all’analisi della povertà e del suo impatto sul pieno godimento dei diritti umani.
