Abstract
In the philosophical landscape Italian, currently characterized by a certain vitality, the original reflections of Francesco Totaro about being who is and who put the question on the foundation, and being that happens, who pay attention to the multiplicity of forms and ways in which is to be known, to allow you to combine ontology and ethics in order to identify structures in the anthropological sense of action that animates the human practice. In this contribution, sharing the general approach, the author identifies in the development of reflective Francesco Totaro the opportunity to reconsider in a less formalistic the so-called "law" of Hume, as configuring the being as a principle of consistency of action positively oriented, it can be concluded that the act is a need to be grounded in being and that ethics is as concrete practice of being in action.
