Abstract
The article presents an understanding of manifestations of emigrant poetics in the dialogue of the Apollonian and Dionysian modes of consciousness of the modern poet-emigrant as an original type of worldview and writing. The background of the formation of the emigrant poetics traces such as nostalgia, split consciousness, rupture, transgressive identity. It reveals specificity of manifestations of nostalgia and rupture through significance of memory, sensational sphere, semiotics of passions, theatrics, mechanisms of zeroing. J. Brodsky is regarded as the reference person of the poet-emigrant who created the modern emigration canon. Brodsky’s representative creative position was studied in terms of apollonian, dionysian, and trickster identification. The research perspective also focuses on the interpretation of J. Brodsky’s poem Only the ashes know what it means to burn to the ground… The Roman codes of this poetic text are affected by the analysis. The author’s strategies have been identified in the plan of formation of the mythology of zeroing with corresponding change of view on the world from the position of ≪i≫ to the perspective of ≪we≫, related to unity of intellectual emigration.
