Abstract
This work addresses the history of Italians residing in Patras from the rise of fascism (1923) to the end of World War II. It investigates local fascist propaganda within the broader political and ideological context of Greece, as well as the attitude of the Greek authorities towards various situations. Finally, it examines the relationship between the Italians of Patras and fascism, influenced both by the support of the Italian state towards them and by the major political and military events of the war.
