Considerazioni sul consequenzialismo
Marrone, Pierpaolo
2015
Abstract
In this paper I explore the idea of expected utility as a description of how we actually act and how we reason. This theory has both normative side and descriptive side. I argue that as idealized normativity it does not recognize the role of moral principle. It is possible that a coherentist strategy can have better chances to balance both our expectations on consequences and our preferences for states.
