Abstract
In the present paper the possibility of reconfiguring bioethics on the basis of care ethics approaches is explored, aiming at showing how this leads to a richer understanding of bioethics as a form of theoretical reflection and as a practice. In so doing the richness of care ethics is explored as well, and different interpretations of this approach are articulated and argued for in their different value.
