Abstract
This study's main purpose is to show the basic features of the existing economic benefits of minimum resources in order to assess their suitability for articulating the so-called citizen’s basic income in the Spanish legal system. It begins with an analysis of the existing economic benefits of minimum resources, both those that have been developed by the State under the Social Security System and those that have been developed by the different Autonomous Communities. The analysis concludes with a proposal for regulation of the fundamental characteristics of the citizen’s basic income.
