Abstract

Artykuł jest próbą odczytania wydanego w 2008 roku tomu wierszy Andrzeja Mandaliana Poemat odjazdu. Tom ten traktuje się jako spójny tekst. W warstwie tematycznej spójność ta konstruowana jest przez fakt powiązania wszystkich utworów z przestrzenią Dworca Centralnego w Warszawie. W planie symbolicznym wszechobecny w zbiorku motyw podróży należy odczytywać jako metaforyczny obraz ludzkiego życia.

The article is an attempt of deciphering Andrzej Mandalian’s 2008 volume of poems titled Poemat odjazdu. The volume is treated as a coherent piece of literature. On the thematic level, the cohesion is constructed through the connection of every poem with the Warsaw Central Railway Station. In the symbolic plan, the omnipresent motif of journey is to be interpreted as a metaphorical description of human life.
