Il ruolo del 'grammaticus' e del 'rhetor' nella scuola antica non si limitava a predisporre un laboratorio in cui i 'themata' presenti nei ‘Classici’ potessero costituire la base di forme di ri-uso o ri-funzionalizzazione, ma si allargava alla promozione di tipologie di analisi foriere di risultati a livello di memoria letteraria, intertestualità e tecnica allusiva.

The role of 'grammaticus' and 'rhetor' in the ancient school was not limited to setting up a laboratory in which the 'themata' present in the ‘Classics’ could form the basis for a re-use or re-functionalization.
