Il sistema dell’offerta turistica del Centro storico di Salerno

Abstract

Lo scopo del paper è di offrire un’analisi delle funzioni turistiche presenti a scala locale. L’ambito geografico preso in considerazione per la ricerca è stato quello del centro storico di Salerno, area che negli ultimi anni ha sperimentato, oltre che una riqualificazione strutturale del tessuto urbano, anche una rivitalizzazione funzionale in prospettiva turistica. Si è, quindi, proceduto a censire e georeferenziare alcune attività particolarmente funzionali alla capacità attrattiva del territorio ed a supporto delle numerose iniziative culturali che l’Amministrazione comunale sta da tempo implementando. Più precisamente sono state individuate tutte le attività ricettive complementari e quelle connesse al settore della ristorazione. Il risultato finale del lavoro è rappresentato da un livello informativo che sarà aggiunto ad una carta georeferenziata e interattiva del centro storico di Salerno, già inserita in un’apposita App per dispositivi mobili.

The purpose of the paper is to offer an analysis of the tourist features on a local scale. The geographical area considered for the research is the historic center of Salerno, an area that, in recent years, has experienced, as well as an urban structural improvement, even a functional revitalization in tourist perspective. Therefore, it is proceeded to register and georeference some activities functional to the territory attractiveness and to the numerous cultural initiatives that the City Council has long been implementing. Specifically, it were identified all the complementary accommodation facilities and those related to the food service industry. The end result of the work is represented by an information level that will be added to a geo-referenced and interactive map of the historic center of Salerno, that is already inserted in a special App for mobile devices.
