Secondly, the essay raises the question whether this operation, which must lead to an absolute immanentism, should also mean abandoning the central category of identity, so decisive for the whole western philosophical tradition. A very brief mention is reserved to the figure that would emerge in the margins of this extreme exercise of thought. |
