Φαντάζεσθαι, φαντασία negli scolii al Prometeo incatenato

Abstract

Scopo di questo contributo è rileggere alcune fonti sulla nozione poetica e retorica di φαντασία, per verificare se dell’attenzione per essa, quale peculiarità dello stile eschileo, si conservi traccia negli scolii al Prometeo incatenato. L’indagine offre inoltre l’occasione per va-lutare il testo di alcuni scolii inediti a questa tragedia conservati sul ms. I (Athous Iviron 209, fine XIII sec.).

The aim of this paper is to read under a new light some ancient sources about the rhetorical notion of φαντασία. The object of this being to verify if the scholia on the Pro-metheus Bound show interest for this notion. The re-search gives the opportunity to read some inedited scholia on the Prometheus Bound on the manuscript I (Athous Iviron 209, end of the 13th century).
