Abstract
To look at the RMRVe volumes with archaeologist’s eyes, involved in two sides, the local heritage safeguard and the university Numismatics teaching, means an acknowledgement of the great value that these research syntheses assume when published as materials for historical reconstruction. This paper aims to put the emphasis to the relevance with this scientific project - unique, with RMRFVG, in the Italian scenario - is part of the Italian archaeological Numismatics history, read through the double lens of the primary need of conservation of cultural property and the importance of the knowlegde transmission in the historical and archeaological sciences framework.
