Abstract
This essay faces some basic issues concerning the relation between sociology and Time. The phenomenon has always been at the centre of human reflection, leading to an enormous development of definitions, conceptions and methods of analysis, extended from the time of nature to the philosophical, psychological and finally sociological one. Beyond the difficulty of containing all this, there are some basic elements on which the article focuses its attention.
L’articolo affronta alcuni aspetti essenziali del rapporto tra gli studi sociologici e la categoria Tempo. Il fenomeno è stato sempre al centro della riflessione umana, portando a un enorme sviluppo di definizioni, concezioni e modalità di analisi, estese dal tempo della natura a quello filosofico, psicologico e infine sociologico. Al di là della difficoltà a contenere tutto questo, vi sono alcuni elementi basilari sui quali l’articolo ha concentrato la propria attenzione.
