Abstract
A historical analysis of the exegetical method of both Friedrich Jacobs (1764-1847) and his younger friend August Meineke (1790-1870), highlighting their significance in the development of modern scholarly commentaries on Greek and Latin literary texts.
Un’analisi storica del metodo esegetico di Friedrich Jacobs (1764-1847) e del suo più giovane amico August Meineke (1790-1870) mette in luce la loro importanza nello sviluppo dei commenti scientifici moderni ai testi letterari greci e latini.
