Abstract
The different and even opposing readings, over time, of Platonic Dialogues show that their relevance cannot be grasped simply by retro-projecting subsequent notions onto them. Instead, it is necessary to actively dialogue with these texts, re-read them in the original Greek, having clear their own questions and specific contexts and multiplying the interpretation keys (multifocal approach): then possible and interesting contents emerge, which are very useful to rethink today.
Le letture diverse e perfino opposte, nel tempo, dei Dialoghi platonici mostrano che non se ne coglie l’attualità semplicemente retroproiettandovi nozioni successive. Occorre invece dialogare attivamente con questi testi, rileggerli nell’originale greco, avendone chiare domande e contesti specifici e moltiplicando le chiavi di lettura (multifocal approach): ne emergono allora possibili e interessanti contenuti, oggi assai utili da ripensare.
