Abstract
This presentation provides a generai outline of research on interpretation
involving a signed language. It covers selected studies from various research
domains, as well as a few studies on the processing and linguistic structures of
signed languages that have relevance for the field of interpretation. Future lines
of investigation are al so suggested.
