Abstract
The paper aims at critically discussing some key-issues raised by Riccardo Fanciullacci’s last book on The Ethical Experience. After an introduction that provides an overview of the book’s most relevant gains and its argumentative structure, the second section investigates the constitutive features of sociability and develops the relationship between individual, society, and culture; the third section applies this relationship to the specific case of consumption goods and their role of cultural mediation; finally, the last section moves to the political dimension that is mentioned in the book, but still in need of further articulation.
