The epigrams currently known as pseudo-senecans have undergone multiple studies and editions. In the group of epigrams considered related to the exile there are several doublets, namely poems that repeat the same motif in different forms, to the point of having raised questions about their status as unique poem or not. With their analysis and a few more – excluding the epigrams dedicated to highlight historical figures, topical in some way – I intend to approach the intention behind this kind of compositions.
